THE INKOMER - A Fan Made Tech Demo

In 2022 I was invited to be part of a Fan Art scenario for the iconic Mortal Kombat Goro.
Created by an amazing, and I´m proud to call him my friend, artist Doug Chaves, Goro is one of the most iconic, loved, and respected characters in the game industry. Shoutout to Bruce Souza which animated Goro and also worked on the lightning with me.


I was asked to direct the set design, level art, and lighting.
I set up the level in a way that emphasized the size and importance of the character.
As well as the silhouette of the level art, always focused on making the character more frightening.
And in the lighting, everything was set up so that the whole artistic and technical part of the character gained an extra flavor to complete the whole scene.
The Project was created using Unreal Engine 4 and then we migrated it to Unreal Engine 5.

The Prince of the Shokan and former champion of the Mortal Kombat Tournament, he is one of the most recognizable and memorable characters in the series. He is a frequent, recurring antagonist in the series and a major ally to the sorcerer Shang Tsung.
Goro made his debut as one of the few original characters in the first Mortal Kombat game while serving as a sub-boss to Shang Tsung. He serves as a sub-boss to many games in the series after.
